FINSCHER 1954, 378, and FINSCHER 1964, 53, suggest that this motet is the second part of the previous one. According to WARD 1986 these two motets and the following one are connected; this cycle would include also two other compositions found in Librone 2, 3 and [4]. In "Grove Music Online" this motet appears among Compère's doubtful and misattributed works.
