According to SNOW 1969, 303, in the Strahov Codex the motet "O pater aeterne" constitutes a cycle with the Mass that precedes it ("Missa O rosa bella III"). WEGMAN 1987, 36, n. 35, maintains instead that "O pater aeterne" forms a cycle with the "Missa O rosa bella I", copied in I-LUs 238 ("Mancini Codex"; "Lucca Codex") and I-TRbc 1375 [88] ("Trent 88").
